Norman Thelwell's equestrian-themed cartoons became popular in the 1950s. Thelwell created "Penelope and Kipper" to satisfy a devoted and growing international following. This became the 1972 book Penelope, now part of Pony Panorama. Penelope Rides Again was published 17 years later. Thelwell's plucky, pint-sized equestrian braved showgrounds and countryside with Kipper. Penelope Rides Again hasn't been published in years. Penelope and Kipper are back in this 100th Anniversary Edition to celebrate Norman Thelwell's centennial. With Penelope's help, readers of all ages will learn to laugh after a fall.
